About Publisher

Society of open science is an open access academic publisher which aims to promote science and strengthen the scientific community by providing free access to collection of articles present in its database. We are committed to providing quality editorial services, technological advances in journal publishing, freely accessible and searchable scientific information, and high-quality content publication.

Society of Open Science, as an Open Access publisher, does not receive subscription fees from readers as the journal is freely available on the web. However, a nominal publication fee must be paid to the publisher for each manuscript accepted for publication. Article Processing Charges (APCs) will be paid by the submitting author after the article has been accepted for publication to cover the cost of making the final version of the manuscript freely available online.

Manuscripts submitted for publication in journals published by the Society of Open Science are subjected to a single blind peer-review process. Single-blind is the most common type of peer-review process that protects the identity of the reviewers by not disclosing their names to the authors.

Society of Open Science publishes all articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License and supports the BOAI definition of Open Access.

Society of Open Science is a signatory to the ORCID’s Open Letter for Publishers, which committed to requiring ORCID iDs in the journal publishing process. ORCID’s Open Letter signatory publishers are committed to the ORCID iD requirement by following specific implementation standards. ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that is unique to individual authors. We strongly recommend that the corresponding author and all co-authors provide their ORCID iDs during the online submission process. The associate journal will include all supplied ORCID iDs in the published article. ORCID registration is a simple and free process and can be done using the following link: https://orcid.org/register.
